Hi, I'm Sam. I'm the person who gets weirdly excited about a well-organized run-of-show doc. A marketing-minded planner who lives for event strategy, execution, and the logistics nobody sees but everybody benefits from.

I've planned and managed everything from conferences and trade shows to corporate gatherings, and somewhere along the way I got really good at vendor management, budgeting, and herding cross-functional teams toward one deadline. I'm at my best in the chaos right before doors open. That's usually when the good problem-solving happens.

I studied Tourism & Hospitality Management at Temple University, where I also picked up leadership roles that taught me how to actually talk to people (and manage a group project without losing my mind).

I was born in Austin, raised in Baltimore, and have lived in New Jersey, Brazil, and Italy. It sounds like a lot of moving, and it was, but it's also why I can walk into almost any room, with almost any group of people, and figure out how to make it work with a smile on my face.

At the end of the day, I care about the two things that make an event actually good. The logistics running so smoothly no one notices them, and the experience being one people actually remember.
